Costantino Ruggieri: The Pastoral Centre “MARIA REGINA” in Serravalle Scrivia

Fra’ Costantino Ruggeri, born Carlo Ruggeri (Adro, October 16, 1925 – Merate,  June 25, 2007), was a painter and sculptor, inventor and builder of 30 new churches, and large windows spread throughout Italy and abroad.

He is remembered as an innovator of sacred art, the precursor of the information related to that of the Second Vatican Council, scorer of the Frate Sole Foundation to reward every four years since 1996, as part of the Christian churches, the mystical space that really stand out artistic qualities tended to make the sacred space a place of spiritual exaltation.
